He took another look at Karyn, and down at himself, frowning. "Karyn, is it possible that because I'm aware of changes because I know the stone exists, but not what they are...because I didn't hear the wish?"
"But you just said you thought you were taller than me, which is silly," Karyn said. Jon continued to look at his clothes, uncertain about them. They seemed wrong also.
"Because nothing is changing, it's just your imagination," Karyn said.
Jon blinked, and looked up at her. "What?" He was distracted by what he was wearing. It seemed all wrong to him,
"I said it's just your imagination," she repeated. "This is the same jacket you wear every day during the spring. Look, I have to get to my class, and you have to get to yours..."
He paused. "But what about...?"
She was already heading off. "I'll see you after school."
