"I'm not really good at this sort of observation," Jay said. "Why don't you ask one of your female friends how you look?"
"Female friends?"
"You know..." Jay said. He seemed a bit odd to Biff. For one, they were talking civilly. And Jay seemed a bit more...normal. The nerd usually had his head in the cloud. He seemed more focused on things. "I don't really know you that well. You have friends, right?"
"Yeah. On the football team."
"What football team?" Jay asked, confused.
"The football team...are you kidding me?"
"No..." Jay said. "Look...maybe you need to see a doctor. Have you hit your head?"
Biff rubbed it. "No." He'd gotten hit in the head plenty of times. It happened. But it hadn't today.
"Well, you should get yourself checked," Jay said. "I have to go. Are you sure you are going to be all right?"
"Yeah, I guess," he said. Jay being nice to him felt weird, but he oddly appreciated it. "You're all right, Duncan."
"Thanks." Jay left him alone.
Biff looked at himself in the mirror. A lanky looking guy with olive skin and dark hair looked back at him. He shuddered. He was looking less like himself by the moment. What was he going to do?
