Setting the blade to its detachment setting, Jason carefully cut around Chloe's face until it was surrounded by an uneven glowing white ellipse. He pulled it off, leaving a flat surface. Jason then turned the face in his hands upside down before reattaching it and restarting reality.
You then reset time, and as it realigns, you get a little dizzy, but quickly regain your composure. Looking at his newly changed friend, her upside down face was free of any seams or evidence that he did it to her. It looked like she was just born with her face upside down. There were subtle changes aside from the obvious as well - Chloe's hair was free-flowing before, but was now pulled back into a ponytail to keep her it out of her mouth and nose.
After staring at her for about a minute, she broke the silence.
"Jason, are you zoning out on me?"
"Sorry, I just, uh...it's nothing." you replied, trying to hide your own embarrassment.
Chloe smiled. Normally, it was cute, but with her face upside down, there was a creepiness to it.
Not wanting to make things more awkward, you decided to say something.
