Jason woke up in an unfamiliar hallway, one that seemed to go on forever in both directions. His last memory before waking up was of falling asleep in his own bedroom, and he was still in his pyjamas. Pinching himself, he confirmed that this wasn't a dream.
So many doors adorned the hallway, all with various names on there. Looking behind him, Jason noticed a door with his name on it.
"The hell is going on?" he thought.
Suddenly, a buzzing came from his pocket. Curiously, Jason pulled out what looked like a smartphone, and answered it.
"Congratulations, Jason McCormick. You've just been selected as an Inhabitor, and can now live in another life of your choice. You will not change physically, but will gain the belongings and skills of your new life as long as you inhabit it. Once you inhabit the life of your choice, the inhabited will live as you, though on autopilot. This phone contains an app which will merge with the phone of the life you choose, and contains information about the lives so to help you maintain the illusion. Have fun!"
Jason placed the phone in his pocket. What was he going to do now?
