Jon managed to close his eyes for a few minutes before hearing the front door slam. He opened his door to see who it was: he saw Zoe, but he hears another voice. Mom still had her music playing, so he couldn't quite make out who it was.
"I've had my way with so many girls, and it was lots of fun"
Was it one of Zoe's friends? Athena? Zelda? Had their brother Mikey gotten home yet?
"My scheme was to know many girls, to keep me safe from one"
No.
"My defenses are down, she's broken my resist--"
Jon slammed his door and retreated back to his bed. He couldn't handle this. He'd just gotten away from her, he couldn't handle dealing with her again so soon. Had she really wormed her way into his sister's life so quickly? It was undeniable: Zoe had come home with Sarah McMillan.
