The next couple of days were the strangest ever in Justin’s life.

Gone was the man in his thirties… replaced and changed in an instant. The woman in the mirror seemed younger, she guessed around her twenties. A cascade of blonde hair flowing down to her shoulders. She had bright green eyes that were very slightly cat-like. Her ears were now at the top of her head and also very much like that of a feline. The other oddity was her tail… she had almost not noticed that- but to be honest she had six other things to worry about.

“Why...” She asked herself as she stared at the full length mirror. She had six breasts running down her front. They were all about a C-cup in size, and so very obviously there to a point she could never hide this- this from anyone.

Katie started bouncing on the bed. “Food!” She said. “Mom, I want my food now. Food please!”

“Uh- Katie-” The older-cat girl said with pleading eyes. “I-I’m kinda having a panic at the moment… this has got to be some weird dream...” Justin stared back at her reflection. She felt the strange fur of her arms. The patterns on it looked a lot like the fur pattern Katie had- well- when she was a cat. Though now she noticed the little cat-girl didn’t have fur there in the way she did. Maybe it would grow when she was older?

“Food mom!” Katie called while bouncing.

“Katie!” Justin suddenly tried to hold her.

“Oh yeah let’s play!” She smiled as she suddenly launched herself at Justin. She nibbled at her arm.

“Ahh!” Justin gasped as the cat-girl began pouncing at her ‘mothers’ tail. “Stop!” Weird- that bite didn’t hurt as much.. as when she was human. Though it still stung!

Katie looked up confused. “Nya? What’s wrong mom.”

“Katie! I’m a cat-woman!” she was shaking her hands in fear. “That’s like the biggest obvious thing that’s wrong. You’re partly human and still acting like a cat!”

“Well, maybe you deserve it. You’ve been so nice to me.” Katie responded matter of factly.

“Deserve it?!” Justin put her hands over her face in screaming anguish. “I can’t go to work like this!” She was in a panic. How would she- how -could- she even do that! She wasn’t going to be able to work in a restaurant or anywhere. Her life was utterly destroyed. She was going to lose everything. Her house, her cat-

Katie purred at Justin’s leg. “Is this helping?” She asked.

“Uh- a little,” Justin sighed. “Thank you.” she pet her pesudo-daughter while she made a plan. “I’m going to call to work sick.. I mean- I guess I am sick. This has to be sick.. and then we’ll both go to the hospital.”

“No! No no!” Katie grimaced. “I don’t want to go to any vet! You can’t make me! I won’t go in that box. You always trick me and I always fall for it!”

Justin blinked. “No- I won’t put you in the box. We’ll take my car.. and just go and… I don’t know. Maybe someone there can figure out what happened to us.”

Katie started to balance on one leg.. and jump. “Wow- human bodies are- surprisingly good!” She giggled. “I feel so stretched out. Like I can open anything-” she then darted for Justin’s closet. “Yay I can open it!” She opened the door and ran inside.

“...Katie.. please come out.”

“It’s nice here though...” Katie responded curling up on one of her mother’s clothes.

“Katie!” Justin pleaded. She knelt down feeling her six breasts.. jiggle slightly. A weird feeling if one could ever describe one. “.. after the vet I’ll give you some cheese okay?”

“Cheese! Yes Mom,” The cat girl replied coming out quickly.

Justin was wearing the best clothes she could find. Her tail was hidden inside a set of loose pants. She was struggling a bit though as the tail seemed so insistent on coming out. Having it in there didn’t help her sense of balance either. She tried putting on a T-shirt but it didn’t cover all of them.. her lowest set and some of her middle was exposed. With little else to go on she managed to put on an apron for the front and started to cover that with a dressing gown. She looked like she was very fat like this but.. it was the best she could do. Next were the ears.. which she could easily hide with a hat.

Katie looked disapprovingly. “Not going to bring any mice like that mom,” She said. “Do I have to teach you again how to catch them?”

“Just- never mind. Here Katie, wear this.” She gave Katie her jacket and the longest shirt she could find. “We’ll get some clothes later for you.”

With that a quick text message to work.. saying how ill he was- and that he was going to the hospital because of it. It was brief but.. hopefully that would be enough.

“Yay I’m walking on two legs!” Katie exclaimed as she ran around the street.

“Katie watch the cars!” Justin shouted.

“Oh- right. Cars. Big things.. they kill cats. Gotta be careful. How do we get back in our house? I can’t fit through the flap like this.”

“You barely used it,” Justin sighed. “Just stay with me or I’ll have to put you on a leash or something.”

“Yes Mom,” Katie responded as they got into the car.
