“Meow...” Katie was… content. Her human took good care of her- as he was fortunate to be allowed to of course. The cat had chosen him among all others. One thing she did like about her human was how much freedom he gave. She was even training him to open doors for her. Humans were… an odd kind of creature really. Not all of them could be trained of course. Many were quite dangerous but… Katie knew how to handle her human. Though there were times the human annoyed her- putting that stupid medicine on her back for one. As if the human pretended not to know what he was about to do- Katie knew exactly what he intended before he was thinking it!
Though aside from that her human gave shelter and occasionally she would let him pet her. Such was the regard she had for her favourite living toy. She tried to nibble on his hand again to get it to move- humans… humans had such strange hands! With little digits at the end of them. She always wanted to bite them- oh he was going to scratch her ears… well she would allow it.
“Heya Katie,” Smiled Justin as he fondly petted the cat. “I wish I knew what you were thinking sometimes when your eyes get so big...”
‘… I want to so nibble on your fingers now...’ Meow… she gave- the best kind of grin a cat could. She ruffled up her fur a bit around her tail.
“Food?”
“Meow...” ‘yes human, food. We’ve been through this dance every day. Give me your food and I’ll let you be in my presence!’ Katie ran to her bowl. “Meow” ‘Come on human. This way human… good human… what is this!’ “Meow?” Katie looked at the food on offer. “Meow...” ‘Fish? I don’t eat fish! You know I don’t eat fish!’ She started to tug the food out of her bowl and tossed it aside. “Meow” ‘I want chicken!’
“I know you want chicken,” Justin said quietly. “I just- ran out. You can have some tuna for now, and I’ll get some tomorrow.”
Katie stared at the bowl and her human. Didn’t he understand? Why were humans so dumb sometimes! ‘Relax, it’s not his fault. He’s just a human… honestly it’s good to train him as far as I have...’ She could just forget about the food for now. Her human will get the idea to bring the right food later.
She went into a huff back to her basket.
Justin watched her go. “Well.. I’m sure she’ll eat it eventually,” He thought.
Justin didn’t think too much about Katie after that. He did his usual errands cooking and cleaning the house. He lived alone so… there was not much to do. He watched a bit of television.. it was a pretty ordinary normal day. After a few hours he found Katie still in her box and clearly still annoyed about something. “Hey Katie, look- it’s late I’ll get you some food tomorrow.’
“Meow,” she replied. ‘I forgive you Human,’ she muttered as she nuzzled against his hand- to mark it with her scent of course. She had to make sure everyone knew who this human belonged to. ‘It’s not your fault you’re not a cat.. if you were…’ Katie felt a strange elation of emotion at that thought. Her human as a cat!
Justin pet her. “You know the way I take care of you people would think you’re my daughter or something,” he said with a shake of his head. Imagine that… heh… he ‘did’ take care of her as if she was his own. There was no question about that. When Katie went outside he fretted over her well-being but he knew… he just knew she had to be a cat. He couldn’t confine her…
“Well.. Goodnight...”
Katie meowed. ‘Goodnight human...’
It was kinda weird.. Justin had a strange dream as he slept. He was taking care of his cat but.. in his dream the cat seemed so much more… human? Her little paws changing into hands… her fur receeding slightly as he suddenly realised the little girl needed to get a dress. In his dream logic he quickly got one, allowing the child to put it on. Her tail poked out of it.
“Thanks mom,” The girl smiled.
Katie of course was having exactly the same dream. She liked her human.. and often dreamed of him. Though of course the human wasn’t as perfect as a cat could be. What if.. he could be? She started to imagine the human as the most perfect cat-woman… maternal and ready to provide for an entire litter of siblings. She missed having siblings of her own of course. Her human started to change, though she wasn’t sure how much fur the human should have. There was something oddly interesting about their furless skin and the way it radiated heat. She started to imagine those odd clothes humans sometimes had and put the fur around her legs in nice stripes. The fur extended across the humans now expanded hips. She continued to hug her mother…
“you’re perfect...” both said to the other as the strange shared dream ended...
Katie woke up. “Huh?” Her fur was gone. She gasped. “What the- What did my human do to me!” She immediately knew it had to be something to do with them! She ran to her human’s bedroom and knocked on the door. Her tail swishing behind her. It was weird crawling on all fours. Her legs were just too long! She looked kinda… human-ish? “Hey- Open up!” She scratched at the door. Then she realised.. she could reach the handle!
“Human.. hands?” She remarked. She opened the door with a grip that was so alien to her. “Human- huh?”
What was on the bed wasn’t human at all. Actually… from the scent alone it was clearly feline.
Justin got up- feeling an intruder. “What AH!” A girl- a little girl.. with.. no clothes. She had cat-ears though and it was clearly the vision of his pet were she a human. “K-Katie?!” What was going on with her voice. “Oh- crap-”
Staring down at what was clearly ‘her’ body, Justin was suddenly aware of the presents of her breasts. She glanced down at it feeling her hand brush against.. something else. Six.. she had six breasts! Six breasts! She got up and stared at herself in the mirror. She appeared to be a cat-like woman now in what seemed to be her twenties. Her torso had somewhat large C-cup sized breasts all pushing against the other. Her ever deepening breaths made her quiver as she realised her arms and legs seemed to have fur. They had curious black stripes on them. She examined her head, seeing her now cat-like ears. “What happened to me!” She cried out.
“M-Mom?” The girl suddenly choked a tear. “I- you are my mom arn’t you!” She suddenly smiled and hugged her arm. “Mom!” She sighed in relief.
Justin cringed. “Lets- let’s get you some clothes Katie...” she quickly stated.
“Why?”
“Because you look way too human now and need clothes!”
Justin quickly gave her a dressing gown that was way too big for her. The cat girl started to paw at it and Justin knew she was about to try and use it as a blanket. “No- keep it on.. like this..” she explained. “I need… I need to work out what we’re going to do...”
