Mikey let pseudo-Mom, whose name he still didn't know, usher him toward the car. He hoped she knew how to drive, or at least the magic would tell her.
There were a few people on the street that morning. He could see a girl dressed in their neighbor Leonard's clothes heading across the street, probably on her way to school as well.
"Don't step on my flowers." He turned, and spotted one of Zoe's Goth friends, Stephanie...dressed in Mrs. Wilson's clothes. It appeared that pseudo-Leonard had tried to cut across her garden. Stephanie apparently had kept her anti-social attitude. She might be dressed like Mrs. Wilson, but he got the impression she wouldn't be baking cookies and bringing them over any time soon.
Scary as that was, it was kind of interesting. But what was he going to do about it?
