Mikey sprinted into his bedroom and watched as Zelda came out into the hallway. She looked a little uneasy.
"I wish I knew why all these people were changing," she whispered to herself, as she walked towards the stairs.
Mikey's eyes went wide. How did she know people were changing? No one was supposed to know, except for Mikey.
He hurried after her, and caught her by the front door. Richy was in the kitchen, and could be heard puttering around and humming...seeming very perky. "Wait...you...see what's going on?"
"What?" Zelda asked, nervously.
"You said people were changing," Mikey said.
"You see it?" Zelda asked. "I mean...your mom."
"Is a kid from my school who is changing into a mom...yeah. And a bunch of other people," he said. "Do you know how it happened?" He asked, pretending he didn't.
"No," Zelda said. "I have this charm Athena gave me. It's an anti-magic charm. I don't know where she got it...and she thinks she's someone else, so she can't tell me." She withheld a bit of the truth as well.
Mikey exhaled. "I...it's been a bit freaky."
Zelda exhaled as well, in agreement. "What are we going to do?"
