Zelda was disoriented and confused. Everyone thought she was Athena. Well, not quite Athena. She was still Zelda, but had somehow taken on Athena's identity.
She spent several minutes in the bathroom, composing herself. She'd found Athena's necklace...the one she called an anti-magic pendant around her neck. She wondered if that was why she knew what was going on and no one else did. But even though everyone thought she was Athena, and should know about magic...she was a computer person.
This sort of thing could freak out anyone. She was starting to see things...confusion. Unknown to her, the anti-magic pendant was making her aware of changes that occurred before she put it on. Her true memories were unlocking inside her head.
She splashed some cold water on her face and turned and nearly bumped into someone so quiet she'd barely noticed them. It was Sarah. But the image in front of her was very different than the one in her mind.
The Sarah in her mind was a manipulative blonde bitch cheerleader. The one in front of her had her blonde hair tied back in a ponytail, and had a rather severe case of acne. And her figure was not as curvy as Zelda's image of her.
"Sorry," Sarah said.
Zelda wondered what the hell was going on, and who could tell her.
