He really needed to find Karyn. When the bell rang again, he headed away from his next class, to try to catch her before she got to hers.
He caught her outside of her next class. "Jon...what's wrong?"
"Karyn, something weird is going on. I think it might be wish related."
She paused. "What did you wish for?"
"That something interesting would happen. I didn't realize I was touching the stone."
"And what's happening? Nothing interesting ever happens at school..." Karyn said.
"Well, there are all these dogs around..."
Before Karyn could answer, he heard barking. He turned and saw a large husky growling at them. "I'd better get to class before I get detention," Karyn said. "We'll talk later." She darted into the room.
Jon took one look at the dog and started down the hall. The dog trotted behind him at a distance, making sure he got to class.
