That's actually a good question... When Zoe aged up to Jon/Jo's original age she became friends with Karen. So I would think Karen and Zoe would still be besties, but I didn't put a ton of thought into Karen's fate.

Thank you all for commenting on here and liking my chapters. The likes and comments, along with the chatter over on the Fiction Branches Discord server, kept me motivated and was the reason I came back to finish the story after a year or so break. When I started writing this my plan was to write until Jon got back to Lake Point, but nothing else was really planned out. Piper and Kirby just organically popped up along the way, and I would be lying if I said the ending wasn't heavily influenced by people's comments on here. So thank you all for reading and being awesome people!!! ❤️

I had intended this story to be just another horny and silly trait swapping/acquiring adventure, but it just kind of snowballed into something else. Hopefully once I get a couple more chapters posted you can hop back into the story and enjoy Jo's journey. After all, she still has to get her stone back from Sarah.

Let's hope so... Jo seems like a good person, with a surprisingly horrible curse.
Btw when I started writing this in 2022, I had no idea that things would work out this way. But the more I write and think about Jo's situation the more this turns into a Monkey's Paw story.

I guess the way I've been thinking about Jon/Jo's situation is that at some point you would become numb to it and just accept your fate. And at this point Jon/Jo has been fighting Sarah's wish for a full day and I would envision that as being super exhausting to deal with... So by the time Jon is Jo she would be worn out and likely numb to the situation. Plus it's not like she can do much without the stone... Anyways it is kind of weird to just accept your fate like that, but the last version of Jon had the weird gender bending puberty in it so it's probably nice to be normal again... Even if that means you're a different gender. Idk if any of that is coherent, but that's kind of what was clanking around in my brain when I wrote that.

Thank you both! I didn't plan on taking a year break, but stepping away from it allowed me to reset my brain and I'm hoping to take the story further than I had originally had planned to take it. So we'll see where it goes. I will say writing a story that continually dips into the past which is constantly shifting and changing requires lots of notes... So many notes after each chapter...

At some point I'm hoping to finish it up. My goal was to get Jon... Jo back to Lake Point, but life IRL got too busy/hectic for me to concentrate on writing. Over the last couple weeks I've been slowly wading back into writing, but finishing this is up is #3 or so on my writing to do list. Hopefully I can get back into the swing of things and knock this out in the next couple months. I have notes/ideas for how to get Jo back, but I still need to flesh those out and connect the dots.
