Actually, in other branches he is older.. in this one he is 6ish. In most branches I write him as 10... but in most branches Jon's mom is Linda, not Laura. We live on the multiverse I guess.

I think there are some fun differences I tried to add between the two.

Well, think of it on a timeline level. Jon left the house, and it is established it was after school when he left, and he was gone for at least an hour. Let's assume Stacy went into the house right after Jon declined to play with her. Not that much time has passed, so assume we still have time till Jon returns. In the other branch, I had him come back immediately, but that contradicts the idea he just left.

I'm trying to decide if I should revisit Steve...in my branch, the last we saw him, he was saying he had nothing to say and didn't want to talk.

That's similar to my original version, where it is Jon who is the breakout star, the actresses playing Sarah and Zoe are the nice ones, Shannon is a prima dona who thought she was supposed to be the star...and if they do end up in rewrites...what does that do to Jon's original life? If he gets back to it?

I want to know...what was the plot of the episode that required this? Episode 1, where the main character wishes themselves into a girl and that's the series? If it is more than 1 episode, there's the issue of the opening credits...especially if its an old school opener. Also, this is more curious...do people use the word Starlet?

I updated the newspaper story in this branch to the headline that did appear in April of 2020.

Well, I figured it was a good compromise between the two. So, if you were literally acting, and playing older, you might make your hair look white. In movies, they might use prosthetics. So, this is magical acting. So, Linda isn't going to become a carbon copy of Leonard...but she has to look the role. Zoe has probably changed the least, because she's able to pull off the role, with her outfit, of a more mature woman. Although I'd imagine she will be able to avoid killing any of her patients.

To be honest, I've never met a pimp in person. We established that Deshan has a temper...in one branch I described him as almost sweet at times...although that was from the perspective of someone who may have had an abusive relationship with him. So, I was picturing him as good to his people unless they do something stupid or someone crosses him, then he'd have no mercy. So, paying the fine to him is just the cost of business unless he thinks they messed up. So, why would someone like that dress in that way...based on his previous descriptions...he's taunting the police.

Not necessarily no McMillans...they just don't live in that house. As for Jon...he's commenting on the fact he's figured out he doesn't know how to stop these guys from doing their work...but he didn't actually try to get Sarah to remember being Sarah McMillan...to snap her out of it.

Well, I did some googling, not exactly extensive research. It depends on how sophisticated your thief is. Athena isn't....she just knows enough to get to it before it locks. They'll turn off mobile and wifi so you can't find it or wipe it. Sometimes they'll put it in a signal blocking pouch if they can't yet turn it off. It is easy enough to force it to wipe and then repurpose it. But if there is someone more savvy, they can do other things...not everyone protects their phone well.
