Thinking quickly Jon said “I wish this place was fixed up and I wish there was a tv playing to explain the noise.” He blinked as if he had something in his eye as reality warped around him and when his vision cleared up the basement was fixed up. More than fixed up in fact, a tv had appeared on a crate along with two shabby arm chairs and in one corner was some weight lifting equipment. It looked like the sort of man cave Steve would have had.
There was a creek as the door started to open, and panicking Jon quickly whispered “I wish there was a reason for me to be down here.” Once more his vision blurred and when it cleared he could swear he was taller. Before he could properly process that, from up the stairs a woman’s voice called.
“Steven, your friend Michael is here.”
Jon glanced around in confusion, expecting to see Steve back but he was the only one there. Surely Steve’s wish should have meant there was no longer a Steve Farber right? Then it hit him - his last wish had made him Steve!
“Yo Steve,” grinned Mike ‘Moose’ Matthews, tromping down the stairs.
