"....no one could see you dressed like that." After seeing John's male clothes morph into female gym apparel Nicole was completely freaked out, so she was completely unaware that she had just made another wish that would simply complicate things even further.
John, on the other hand, heard Nicole's wish and was mentally preparing himself for what was to come. He felt a chill run down his body and a sense of lightheadiness overtook him for a split second. He looked down at himself to see that his arms, legs, and the trunk of his body was semi-transparent as if he was made of a light see-through cloth. John continued to look at the gym floor through his body while it got more and more transparent. Eventually any visual trace of John and his clothing was gone.
Nicole, already at her wits end, freaked out even more when she saw John fade away.
"John! Where are you?!" Nicole looked frantically around the gym to see if she could spot John.
"Keep it down, Nicole! I'm standing right here, you just can't see me," said John, "When you wished that nobody could see me in girls clothes I became invisible."
"I didn't mean to wish that you were invisible, I was just, you know, thinking out loud."
"Well you better let me hold the rock while your thinking because it doesn't care if you mean what you say. Hand it over," said John as he stretched out his hand to take the rock from her.
"First off, I can't see you so it's kinda hard to 'hand it over' to you. Second, do you think it is a good idea for everybody to see this stone floating around while you are carrying it?"
"Good points, but you need to give it to me so that I can fix th.."
John was interrupted by Coach Jefferson who yelled out, "Nicole get back with your class and do your leg squats!"
"I tell you what, John, just hold tight until the end of class and then I will give this back to you," said Nicole as she put the stone in between her cleavage and trotted back over to her class leaving John by himself.
