"The stone only grants 3 wishes, just like it would in a fairy tale or old legend. Everybody that doesn't hear the wish spoken will not notice any changes to reality, that's why the girls in class didn't think that me looking really pregnant was normal. Your wish was the second one so it only has one wish left and I would really like it back so that I can use that wish to get back to normal," answered Joan, who decided to lie to her teacher to keep her from knowing the true extent of the stones power. She would simply think the stone was out of wishes once Joan fixed her pregnancy problem and then she would no longer be concerned with it.

"I can't believe that I wasted one of your wishes on making that suit more realistic. I'm so sorry, Joan, I could of made myself into a rich, beautiful actress, but instead I forced you to give birth to a baby that's really just cloth padding and lead filings." Mrs. Miller let out a sigh. "Well, I suppose it could of been worse, last week our special assignment was a baking project, if I had the stone back then I might of accidently turned you into a muffin."

Joan smiled and rubbed her stomach. "To be honest I kinda feel like a muffin right now. A nice plump one."

"Ah yes, carrying around a baby does tend to make a woman feel like an overinflated water balloon," said Mrs. Miller as she returned Joan's smile. "Say Joan, if my wish was the second wish then what did you wish for before that?"

"Well.. I kinda.." started Joan, trying to think of something that a teenage girl would wish for.

"Let me guess, it concerns a boy."

"Well, yeah," replied Joan sheepishly. She supposed that a teenage girl would wish for something like that.

"Omigod Joan," exclaimed Mrs. Miller, "Using a wish for a high school crush, that's like flushing a winning million dollar lottery ticket down the toilet... and you knew that you only had three wishes. At least I have an excuse for making a stupid wish and wasting a once in a lifetime chance."

"Look," said Joan, trying to change the subject back to getting rid of her faux pregnancy, "I just want the stone back so that I can take off this stupid vest wihout having to pass it through my vagina."

"So that is seriously your last wish," said the teacher in disbelief, "You want to use the stone to change yourself back to normal when you will already be changing back this afternoon."

"Yeah, I don't want to have to go through contractions and labor and hyperventilating so that I can push out a child that's not even mine... or real at all for that matter," replied Joan.

"Look, childbirth isn't a picnic by any stretch, but it's not like it's something you can't deal with. The other girls in class have done it and they seem to be fine, healthy, back to their original weight and everything. It seems that once the suit is off you're completely back to your normal self like nothing ever happened. Besides, in a few more years it's going to be the real thing for you anyway, and then you will have a screaming kid to tend to afterwards as well."

"So you're saying that I should go through with this," asked Joan in disbelief.

"Yes, I'm not going to let you waste your last wish. This is a once in a lifetime chance that I can't let you throw away. You deserve better." Mrs. Miller took the stone out of the side pocket of her pants, she had it on her the entire time. "Therefore, I will be making the last wish on this. I'm going to make a wish that will benefit the both of us, we will both share the last wish. That's only fair. Trust me, you'll thank me later for not letting you waste this opportunity."

Joan couldn't believe how badly her plan had backfired. She would have to give birth at 3:15 this afternoon and Mrs. Miller was going to make a wish that would affect the both of them. Who knows what she will do with the stone once she thinks it's out of wishes.
