The next morning, Jon came to pick Ashley up at her house, just as he'd done on the way to school every morning for the month that they had been together, and they met up with Karyn as they walked. "So..." began Jon, "the month's up today. Do you wanna go ahead with the undo wish now or wait until after school?"
"Why don't we go ahead with it now? And since it was you who got us into this in the first place, why don't you do the honors?" suggested Ashley, confidently tossing the rock to Jon.
"Hey, that was a very smart wish I made. I even put in a time limit even though I didn't know about the no-undo rule of the rock. I mean, I could've just said 'I wish that Jon and I would be stuck in each others' bodies until the end of time,'" retorted Jon before realizing what was in his hand. "Oh...fuck..."
Ashley had a hard time containing her excitement at the fulfillment of her wish, but she still managed to give a convincing performance for Jon and Karyn. "Dammit, Jon! I should've known better than to let the one who screwed up our lives in the first place make the wish! Now I have to live with boobs and a vagina and this lovely monthly mini-hell for the rest of my life!" she shouted, though inside she was thankful for every aspect of being female, including her period, which she took as a reminder of her femininity and how lucky she was to have it after spending so much of her life as a guy.
"Listen, Ashley, I'm sorry. I screwed up, but there's nothing we can do for now, so calm down. We'll work something out," apologized Jon.
"You're right. I'm sorry. You know what they say about how you can't control your first reaction," replied Ashley, lieing through her teeth. "We'll manage to deal with it, and we'll all try to think of a loophole wish in the meantime." And with that, Ashley started walking again, taking the time to enjoy herself, down to her swaying hips and her lightly bouncing breasts underneath the very same black skirt and blue tank top she had been wearing on the day she had first entered the body she would have for the rest of her life.
