"I could just ask the stone," Jon pointed out. "You don't need to test it."
"But you have the stone," said Karyn. "I have the wand." And she swapped. Jimmy put his hand down to his waist, puzzled, and then began to walk away.
Karyn suddenly had a bulge in her pants. "Now I need to get rid of this thing," she said, and pointed it at a crowd of people. "Ahh," she said as the bulge vanished. "I figured I had a 50-50 chance of getting one of those back."
"I think Joseph wants the wand back," said Jon. "Look." Joseph was approaching, in that strange skirt.
"But the wand is really mine," said Karyn. "Okay, yours, but it isn't his. You just wished it to be his, but you really made it."
"Please don't tell me you want to cause more trouble with it," said Jon.
"No more than he would. Come on, Jon, just let me have it a few days..."
"All right. I wish that Joseph would let Karyn keep the wand until a week from now."
"Karyn," said Joseph. "The wand. I need to get it b..." Then his eyes turned blank for a second.
"Do you want the wand back?" asked Karyn.
"No," said Joseph. "I agreed to let you have it for a week, to make up for your troubles. But I want it back after that!"
