"I was thinking of continuing that transformation game for a while before we left."
Jon almost choked. Recovering, he protested, "Karyn, I'd rather not be a frog or pregnant. I'd especially prefer to remain friends when we get back home and have an irreversible wishing rock in front of us."
"We're still friends now. Please? I really want to.", Karyn begged a little.
Jon tried again. "Karyn, this is a bad idea. I'll even admit that part of me is tempted too. The problem is that it is my darker half. I think I'm nearly as afraid of what I will see about myself as I am of offending you." He shifted his loin-cloth a bit.
"I still want to.", Karyn stated. "Wouldn't you prefer I get it out of my system when it's easily reversible, rather than with the stone? I promise I won't get offended -- but I might ask to be returned to this form immediately."
Jon felt a little sick to his stomach at the thought of trying that game with the stone. He had to admit to himself that being able to change back to normal was a good safety check though. "Ok.", he said with a half-hearted grimace.
Karyn flung herself at him and delivered a big hug and kiss to Jon's cheek.
Jon was still pondering that it was very nice to be hugged by Karyn when she gave the computer a command to transform Jon.
