Kelly only continued to smirk and left the room. Before she closed the door, she said, offhandedly, "I'll only tell you that you won't be able to do anything about it."
"Wait, Kelly!" yelled Jon.
Turning, she replied, "What is it?"
"You asked me some questions before. Why did Grandpa give me this stone and not you? Why does he think I can handle it and you can't? I think you deserve some answers."
"Do you really think so?" replied Kelly.
"Sure," said Jon. I can't read minds. I don't know what Grandpa thought. But I'll give you some advice. Since the stone grants wishes, if you don't know the answer to something, you can ask it. Just make a wish on it. "I wish I know why Grandpa gave Jon and not me the stone, and why he thinks Jon and not me can handle it."
"I don't want to...."
"I insist," replied Jon. "There's no need to leave you hanging."
"You're trying to trick me," said Kelly.
No, thought Jon, it's obvious why he wouldn't give you the stone. Jon shook his head. "Honestly, I really do want you to find out the answer to your questions."
Kelly reached into her pocket and said "I wish I know why Grandpa gave Jon and not me the stone, and why he thinks Jon and not me can handle it."
