"The only way I can think of is to use the stone and make him say a wish every few minutes until his wishes run out," Karyn said.

Mary thought about it. "That could be extremely risky. But, it might be the best option." Mary took out the stone again. "Let's have him make a wish every fifteen minutes? Okay, here it goes. I wish that Joseph would make a wish every fifteen minutes. Also, I wish Karyn would hear Joseph's wishes and understand the full effects of the wish."

"Shall we go back," Karyn said, "Let's see what happens."

Mary and Karyn walked back to where Joseph was. Joseph seemed to brighten a bit, especially as he saw Mary. Mary had a bad feeling that Joseph was attracted to her; she couldn't blame him, especially since she was a guy before. If a guy sleeps next to a girl, there's bound to be some sort of attraction.

Almost immediately, Joseph said, "I wish Mary would want to kiss me." Ninety-one wishes left. A blank expression crossed his face as he forgot his wish. "Did you say something?"

Both the girls shook their heads. Mary had a feeling of dread sweep across her. She really did want to kiss Joseph. She didn't act on it, but that didn't erase the desire. Mary looked at Karyn; Karyn couldn't hold back a smile, especially since she understood everything about the wish. Karyn caught Mary looking at her and tried to hide her smile, but it didn't go away for long.

Mary turned back to Joseph, "My parents won't be back for another few hours. Let's go out and do something."

"Sure, but we're coming back later on. I still need to find out where Jon is.
