Just then John had a realization, if he made a wish to make Joseph say whatever he wanted him to say he could simply force him to make whatever wish he wanted him to make. It was the perfect solution to this situation, the only question was what should he make Joseph wish for. It would be kinda cruel to make him waste his wish on something stupid like a pack of gum or a new hairdo. So John decided that his wish through Joseph should be something that he would actually want or need. He put some consideration into it and quickly made up his mind.
He gripped the stone in his right hand and said,"I wish that Joseph would say this next sentence out loud that I am about to say. 'I wish...'"
