"I wish that all this would happen. First, you'll give birth to a boy before the end of the day. Second, the baby would grow up fast, to the age of the high school Jon. Third, he'll take the place of the original high school guy Jon and everyone else would think he's always been Jon. Fourth, this new Jon would have your mind, except he thinks of us as his parents and he's not in love with me."
"Well," said Jonnie. "That's, er... an interesting idea."
"It means we can be together yet you can still be back, sort of."
"Our son will think he's me," said Jonnie.
"Almost. He'll remember being the old you, and he'll be living as the old you, but he should know that we're his real parents and his parents are really his grandparents. But as far as everyone else knows, they're his parents and he's you. Anything you changed by not being a high school guy will have changed back. It fixes everything."
