John's heart sank as he realized that Joseph now had three reality warping wishes instead of just one. Joseph and the rest of the world would not notice anything different if he made a bad wish, but John would since he planned on following Joseph around so that he could hear his wishes and hopefully correct or repair the damage that they did. John knew that he had to coax him to make his wishes or...perhaps he could.....
John turned up the car radio slightly while he put his hand on the rock in his pocket and whispered, "I wish that I knew if I could use a wish to make Joseph make three wishes of my choosing or if I could influence his wishes with one of my wishes. I also wish to know if I could make him unable to speak his wishes."
"Did you say something John?"
"No, I was just singing along to this song," said John as the stone sent a feeling of warmth from his hand to his head. The same strange voice that informed him of Joseph being given a wish filled his head again:
"You are forbidden from tampering with your friends wishing process due to the restrictions placed on you by your wish to give him 'something special', a wish of his choosing that would be granted."
"Shit," thought John, "now I'm back to square one." Not finished, the voice resumed communication in his head and said......
