When he got downstairs he saw Becky sitting at the dining room table tossing the rock up and down in her hand. This infuriated Jon. He stormed into the room and knocked over a chair.
"Becky! Just because you're older than me doesn't mean you have no right to go through all my stuff! Give me my rock!"
Becky spun the rock around in her palm. "Shut up Jon. Sometimes I wish you couldn't speak."
Jon grabbed his throat in fear. He tried to scream but nothing came out. He coughed and wheezed and tried to make a discernible sound but it was hopeless. He was now a mute.
"That's better! Now I don't have to listen to that lip of yours ever again!"
Jon darted towards his older sister with the hope of knocking the rock out of her hand.
But he was too slow and a bit too late.
"I wish Jon was facing the other direction!"
Jon jumped at Becky but quickly found himself turned around.
He slamed into the wall head first.
His chest hit the ground and the air was knocked out of him.
Becky laughed and tossed the rock in the air.
"You're too much fun to play with little brother!"
Jon picked himself up. He was furious but at the same time, completely terrified.
Becky had no idea these wishes were irreversible and she had now taken away Jon's voice forever!
Jon ran to the kitchen to grab a pen and write out the dangers of the rock.
Becky saw him leaving the room and quickly remedied the situation.
