"I wish you'd be my friend, Sarah." That's really all she wanted, just to get her friend back.
The stone became warm in her hand and flashed. A ripple went through her body. "Hey, what's happening to me?" She noticed her hair length became shorter and she saw her breasts become smaller, probably size-B or smaller. "No!" Her clothes became more boyish as her mind became less girly. The stone decided that Sarah wouldn't have any friends that were feminine like Meagan.
The new tomboy Meagan looked up at her friend Sarah and said "What happened?"
"I think you became a tomboy, like me. Is that okay?"
"Well, my first thought would be no, but I kind of like being this way. Especially now that I have you back as being my friend."
"What are you talking about? We've been friends for years."
"But, you said you didn't know me when I confronted you at school."
"I don't remember that." And of course she didn't. The stone continued to alter reality. This time, making as though their little incident at school had never happened. Except, Meagan remembered it happening.
"Well, it's still good having you as a friend. All of you." She nodded towards Jen and Karyn. In the stone's current state of not working quite right, reality has shifted to make it as though Karyn and Jen were also Meagan's friends.
Four tomboys, all friends.
Meagan put the stone in her pocket and all four of them went to Meagan's house.
