“Here.” she said. “It was nice chatting to you, and if you have any more girlfriend troubles or…” she paused chuckling “fashion crises. Give me a call.”
Biff let out a little laugh as he looked at the card.
“Yeah. Er, thanks, officer.”
“Anytime," she said. She felt she might be acting irresponsibly. After all, he was several years her junior and still in high school...but he looked pretty mature for his age. But, being nice to a hot boy in distress wasn't exactly taking advantage of the situation. She wouldn't do much more without him signaling to her he wanted more.
Biff headed down the street from the diner, feeling a bit better. Sure, Officer Chase seemed skeptical, but she didn't treat him like he was crazy for what he said...like Sarah. Sarah was supposed to be his girlfriend...why couldn't she just listen to him? He decided he'd better head back to school...but he felt, at the least, he could cope better with the craziness. Maybe he could find someone else to listen. Maybe someone else thought this was crazy.
