"And cut! That's our martini everybody!"
Everyone on the set cheered as Karen suddenly broke away from her kiss. Kevin and Megan also let go of each other and suddenly shook hands. Bright lights out in the parking lot of the motel started switching off as crew members began taking them down. Karen took off a blonde wig revealing her old natural red hair underneath.
"What the--" was all Jon managed to mumble.
Before she could complete a thought, Jon was interrupted by the man who yelled cut, the director, a wiry brown haired man in a t-shirt, flannel and jeans.
"That was just great, get to the makeup trailer and get that stuff off and I'll see you at the wrap party later." He said.
Jon just stared in bewilderment as she instinctively followed Karen toward the makeup trailer. Finally Jon found her voice again.
"Karen, what's going on here?"
The woman flashed an amused smile back at Jon.
"Melissa, did you just call me 'Karen' You told me you were a character actress but good grief!"
Then the actress who played Karen just laughed.
