Nick thought about it for a minute. "Look, first things first "“ this glove is an immediate problem that you can partly solve. I don't want to have to constantly worry about my clothes changing from random thoughts. I know you said there's risk, but I guess I trust you, and if we don't do this, I'll never be able to go out in public without worrying about it. Besides, it just kind of creeps me out a bit to think that these clothes I'm wearing are sort of really a part of my skin." At that thought, Nick's outfit shifted, and changed into elaborate body paint that perfectly mimicked the same clothing. Essentially, Nick was now naked, and flushed bright red.

Mr. Fisk quickly looked away "Yes, I see, your point is made. With a few more days' practice, I'm sure you could get much better control over it, but meanwhile it is a problem. Still, as I said, I don't really recommend it, but I will try." He carefully wrapped the medallion on the counter in the strange cloth, placing it in his coat pocket, and then reached for Nick's hand. "come, come... imagine yourself at a spa, and you're walking around in a soft, full-length bathrobe, then follow me to the back room"

After a moment, Nick was indeed wrapped in a white bathrobe, with soft slippers, and followed the shop owner through the 'employees only' door. Beyond was a large room with assorted tables covered in paraphernalia, along with some cabinets filled with books and knick-knacks. He was led over to one side where there was an odd circular table with a wide notch cut into one section with a stool set up, to for a sort of wrap-around desk. Around the table, on the floor, was drawn an intricate diagram of symbols forming a ring. A few scattered items were on the table, as well as some cleaning cloths, and what looked like jeweler's tools.

"Please step into the circle. You won't need to do anything. You may sit, but make sure you are entirely within the circle." Mr. Fisk said, his tone becoming very business-like. "I will begin the tuning process , which will consist of a series of adjustments, in a moment." He turned to another cabinet and took out a large set of silver tuning-forks.

"Really?" Nick thought to himself "so he really is 'tuning' it? Ahh well, he's the expert." As Mr. Fisk started fussing with his forks to find the right one, Nick looked around Idly. On the table in front of him, he saw a few

interesting things: A bracelet that he recognized as the Bracelet of Telepathy from the cabinet in front yesterday, what looked like a brochure for a beach resort, a lace and rhinestone choker, a top hat, a small mirror, a small bottle of fluid labelled 'Elixir of Mental Adaptation', a fine gold chain and a small statuette, among other things. As Mr. Fisk nodded at Nick, and began to sound some forks in series, Nick realized that he was more nervous than he thought he would be. To take his mind of the feelings making him shake a bit, he took a closer look at the objects.
