(Zoe is 16. My mistake. Yeah, she can be any age I want because this is a branch, but I meant for her to be the same as everywhere else.)
Jon was even back to her normal clothes now. After all, the leather pants, especially in the size she got them in, would show off her female butt, and she was supposed to be good at disguising--someone good at disguising would obviously wear something else.
As she sat down with the others to eat, she could almost forget the transformation, the same way you forget that you can feel your own clothes or notice yourself breathing. Though soon afterwards, she had to go to the bathroom, and she certainly noticed it then.
She chatted as normal and even made some remarks about how hot some of the girls on the cable TV movie were. Karyn and Megan took the opportunity to point out hot guys, and Jon, looking at them, got very confused. Jon couldn't help but feel some excitement at the thought of hot guys, just on a purely physical level. It was nothing she could really control; she just found herself automatically imagining what it would be like to be held and kissed and... but she didn't want to think of it further.
The movie, which was only R-rated, ended soon afterwards. The teens considered having some beer, but nobody had brought alcohol or any fake IDs, and they ended up just deciding to go to bed. Now, how could Jon do that without giving herself away?
Finally, she decided to get the stone back from Karyn and wish "I wish that nobody thinks it unusual when I sleep in my clothes or refuse to undress in front of other people."
"That didn't work," thought Jon. "I needed an excuse and I had to use the stone. If Karyn had had the stone and wasn't right here, I'd have been really badly stuck. I need to learn to handle this without using the stone...."
Jon gave the stone to Karyn to hold again, so Jon could try to practice staying in disguise without being too tempted to use the stone for every little thing. And Jon managed to get to sleep, even though the chest bands, while much better than the tape, still chafed a bit.
But in the morning....
