"Hand me the stone," Karyn said, holding out her hand. Jon reached over to where the wishing stone laid next to the remote. Karyn closed her hand around it and closed her eyes. "I wish that the magic remote would not work on me anymore in any way." She opened her eyes and smiled at Jon. "That should do it."
"Are you sure?" he asked.
"Only one way to find out," she said, standing up. She stepped over him and went to stand in the center of the tent. "Take the remote and try to change me," she ordered.
Jon sat up, grabbing the remote as he did. "Into what?" he asked.
Karyn thought for a second, then struck a sexy pose. "A statue," she told him. "Try to turn me to stone."
Jon nodded and typed the command into the keypad. Pointing the remote at his girlfriend, he asked, "Ready?"
Karyn closed her eyes. "Yeah."
Jon pressed the enter key and waited. Nothing happened. Karyn slowly opened one eye and looked down at her naked body. A moment later, she breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, I guess that's that, huh?" Jon said.
Karyn shook her head. "Not quite," she told him. "Now, you've got to try the ORIG button."
"I don't think so," Jon answered quickly.
"Look, Jon," she told him, walking over and taking his face in her hands. "We're going to have to find out sooner or later. And quite frankly, I'd rather know now than to spend everyday of my life waiting for someone to do it by accident."
"And what if you turn back into a bra?" he asked her. "What am I supposed to do then? I just found out that I'm in love with you, Karyn. I don't want to lose you now."
She smiled at him. "Well, then you'll just have to make sure we stay together no matter what happens."
"How?"
"I don't know," she admitted, moving back to the center of the tent. "Turn yourself into a matching pair of panties or something."
Jon couldn't help but smile. "Sure," he laughed. "I could even wish us into a set on sale at Victoria's Secret."
"Now, you've got it," she smiled back, before turning serious again. "Well, let's get this over with." She stood with her arms at her sides and looked into his eyes, taking a deep breath to steady herself.
Jon looked at her a moment longer, before pointing the remote at her. "Here goes," he said, pushing the ORIG button.
