"There is one thing I'd like to know though Karyn," I said while looking across the grassy fields."
"Oh?" said Karyn with an inquisitive look across her eyes, "What?"
"Well," I said slowly, "what's with you and horses? I mean, you seem pretty darn obsessed with working near em, why?"
"Oh," Karyn said her expression suddenly becoming a bit gloom, "Well, I guess it's just a childhood fantasy of mine, you see, I used to pretend to be a horse."
"Oh, is that it?" I said as if expecting something far worse, "That sounds like something most little girls would do."
"You don't understand," said Karyn still glum, "I didn't just pretend to be a horse, I wanted to be a horse.
We both sat there silently for a few moments, starring into each other's eyes, it was Karyn that finally broke the silence.
"I, wanted to live a life as a horse, I constantly escaped into fantasies of free across the country side on powerful legs, and,"
Karyn paused for a few moments, a look of shame upon her face.
"I would fanaticize about mothering foals."
"WHAT!?" I said jumping to me feet, "You got over it right?"
Slowly Karyn got to her feet.
"Well," Karyn said, tears building up in her eyes, "Sorta"
"What do you mean Sorta?" I said trying to keep my shock under control.
"Sometimes, I want to be a Centaur more then anything else in the world.
"I centaur?" I said perplexed.
"Yes, a centaur, Dear god!" Karyn exclaimed screaming at the top of her lungs, "I WISH I WAS A FUCKING CENTAUR."
Karyn gasped a she realized she was still holding the stone.
