When the one woman zoo keeper came back in to feed us next time, I tried to get her attention by waving a paw at her. She chuckled in amusement at my antics. "Want some attention, do you?" I nodded vigorously. "Well, I'm just here to feed you two, and then I've got to go." I shook my head and whined. She laughed. "I almost think you understood me." I nodded again so hard it felt my head would fall off.
A little uncertainty came into her eyes. "This has to be a coincidence." I shook my head. "Well... if you do understand me, roll over." I immediately rolled over onto my back. "Beg." I could finally see her name tag enough to read it -- Anne. "So you want this rock?" I started to nod, then hesistated. I shook my head. "You don't want this rock?" I started to shake my head, then growled a little in frustation. I awkwardly tried to wave a paw at Anne, trying to indicate her. I wanted her to have the rock, so she could make a wish for us!
Anne looked confused. "I don't get it." She looked down at the stone in her hand, and then at the two leopards who were looking anxiously at her. "This rock is important?" Both Karyn and I nodded vigorously and Karyn yowled faintly. "Geeze. This is so weird. I feel like I'm in an episode of the X-Files! I wish ...
