Karyn shook her head; then whispered "Having the ears of a cat can be handy."
I know I couldn't have heard her with merely human ears; so I flicked an ear and nodded.
"Could we make all todays wishes wear off at ... say midnight?"
I looked into her eyes. "I don't know if it will work on those wishes already made ... but I think it's worth a try."
"Then we need to find a private spot." She looked around nervously.
