He pointed the device at Lucy and pushed the “Personality Swap” button. The button began to flash, but nothing happened.
“I probably have to do it again to somebody else,” Rob mused aloud. “After all, one target couldn't exactly swap with itself. I should probably try it on myself. Having a dog personality wouldn't be bad, I think."
Rob pointed the device at himself, and hit "Personality Swap." He felt a bit of a recoil....as if something was happening. He turned his head to the right, then to the left, panting. "Looks like it didn't do anything. Oh, well..." He dropped the remote in the corner of the bedroom and walked on all fours out into the hallway.
Meandering down the hall towards the bathroom, he barked happily at his older sister Becky, primping and preening in front of the bathroom mirror. “Excuse me, sis!”
She didn't respond. He hopped on his haunches and stuck his face into the toilet bowl and began hungrily lapping at the toilet water with his tongue.
Just then, his Mom came down the hall. “Are you kids ready yet?” she said, poking her head into the open bathroom door. “Becky, you look fine." She was about to turn when she spotted Rob. "Rob, are you drinking from the toilet again? I asked you to use your bowl on the kitchen floor. That's why we put it there. C'mon, now. Hurry up now. We're going to be late!”
