Karyn looked at me worriedly. "Are you okay, Jon?"
I shivered and quickly replaced the stone in its box before I said something else dangerous. "I think so, Karyn." A quick look at myself didn't show any signs of anything different about me. "How do I look?"

Jon was uttering his sentence one moment, and then next I watched a look of surprise cross his face as his lips start pushing out into a beak, changing to a dull yellow color. He started to shrink within his clothes as his head become paler, covered with white feathers. In a few moments, a bald eagle was thrashing inside Jon's t-shirt and making angry screams.

I was forced to look away from the eagle as the wish took hold, and then I looked back. "I don't want you to want to be an eagle!"
The eagle paused as it thrashed in what was quickly becoming a ripped up t-shirt, then started to change.
