Nick turned around and was shocked to see himself, a slightly younger version, standing in the doorway with a surprised look on his face.
"Oh hi Megan. I'll be ready to go to the show in a few minutes." The male version of Nick stammered as he looked at who he thought was Megan. "I was late getting out of work, but will be ready in just a couple of minutes. Do you want anything?"
"Uh no thanks." The female/Megan version of Nick said. He could tell how awkward his male self was around who he thought was Megan, and she couldn't help but wonder why Megan had put up with his shyness for as long as she did.
"God I was so afraid to make the first move." Nick thought as he looked on at his male self, knowing remembering what he had to do next to make sure that everything worked out as he remembered.
"You ready to go sweetheart?" The male Nick said.
"Can I really do this?" She thought as she looked on at her male self.
