Jon looked at himself in the mirror and reluctantly nodded his head. After all whether he liked it or not he was now a middle-aged woman and he would have to face the world some time.

Sherry smiled at him and sent him off into the shower, whilst she picked out his outfit. Flipping through the wardrobe, Sherry's hand hovered over some Capri pants, but changed her mind and decided on a smart looking chocolate brown skirt suit and a cream silk blouse.

"Oh gawd, Sherry no! Not that please" Jon when he returned, wearing a bathrobe and frowning at her choice.

"Why not Sandra? This is the kind of outfit women like us wear when we go out for brunch" Sherry replied with her hands on her hips "come on now, let's get going"

Jon sighed but made little protest as his mother helped him to dress, complaining only when his mother showed him how to roll on a pair of chocolate tight.

"It's either this or I book you in for a waxing, and I'm not sure your ready for that yet. Besides its chilly out."

After dressing, Sherry gave Jon his first lesson in make-up and showed him how to fix his hair, making a mental note to book them both into the salon as soon as possible. Then she had him slip on a pair of open-toed brown suede pumps with a four inch heel and ushered him mincing down the stairs, his ne boobs jiggling with every step. Grabbing their purses, the two new sisters climbed in the car and Sherry drove them into town. Sherry took Jon to her favourite cafe.

After a light brunch at n outside table, the two women lit cigarettes and sipped their coffees. Sherry was enjoying this. She had always wanted a sister and, whilst Jon wasn't exactly chatty, it was nice to have someone her own age to pass time with.

Jon's thoughts were very different. He hated the smoking, but now couldn't even envisage not having a cigarette with his coffee. Blowing the smoke out he glanced about, realising that most of the women here were the middle-aged house-wife type....just like him. A younger girl in her early twenties sat with someone who was probably her mom. She was pretty hot and Jon felt a stirring in his crotch which raised a mix of feelings. Regret. At how he would never have a chance with a fit girl like that. Revulsion at what sex would mean for him now. And envy. Maybe being female wouldn't be so bad if he was young. Jon realised he was staring and quickly looked away as she frowned at him. Coughing slightly as he took another drag, he threw his cigarettes and lighter back into his purse in irritation. Looking for a distraction, he fished out his driving liscence with his long manicured fingers.

He was unsurprised to see the picture and date of birth had changed. But frowned when he read his name.

"That's strange. You said I would have your maiden name, but here my name is down as Sandra Philips not Stevens?" Jon passed it to his twin.

"Erm...yeah wondered about this after something Zoe said at breakfast" Sherry replied with a worried look.

"What did she say?" Jon asked concerned.

"We'll she asked how long Aunt Sandra was staying and whether you and Uncle George would get back together" Sherry

"Uncle George...you mean I have a husband!" Jon asked incredulously "no way!"

"Erm sis maybe you should take a look at your ring finger"

Jon did as she said glancing at one of the fingers that held the menthol cigarette and saw with horror that he wore a wedding band.

"Oh my gawd! I'm married! I'm someone's wife!" Jon cried.

"Shhh Sandra...you're making a scene" Sherry whispered glancing about.

Jon slumped defeated. "But how's this possible? You're not married!" he muttered.

"But I was and it sounds like your going through a messy break-up just like I did." Sherry shrugged.

"Great. Just what I need on top of this. Oh Sherry what am I going to do!" Jon moaned and stubbed out his horrid cigarette.

"Well if you ask me. I think maybe you should meet him. You going to have to sooner or later; and you never know maybe you can do what I didn't and save your marriage"

"Save my marriage" Jon whispered urgently "Sherry, do you know what your saying! On the outside I may look like you but on the inside I'm still a guy. I could never....be with a man!"

"Never is a long time sis. You're a woman now and you have needs just like I do. You have to get it in your head that your never going to get with a girl like your fiend Karyn or the girl sitting over there" Sherry replied sternly, deciding hat honesty was the best course. "in a few weeks you may be glad of having a man. To tell the truth, I'm a little jealous"

Jon stared open mouthed at his mom in horror and disgust. Surely she couldn't be serious?! Surely he couldn't do THAT!....
