“Where’s Linda?” Melissa asked out loud, getting frustrated.

Jon was annoyed as well. Not only was his mother late for practice, but she was also delaying him from getting the stone and fixing this wish. Jon pouted and folded his arms across his chest.

“You look so sexy when you pout. Did you know that?” A voice to Jon’s right said. Flinching, Jon turned to see who it was and to his dismay, it was Steve Farber.

“W-what!?” Jon replied, shocked at what he was hearing.

“Hi Steve!” He heard Erika giggle behind him. Jon looked back and saw her waving at Steve, blushing. Turning back to face Steve Jon saw him grin at Erika.

“’Sup babe?” He asked, flirtingly, causing Erika to giggle again.

“Have you seen Linda?” Melissa asked Steve. Steve shrugged.

“Sorry babe. I only came here to see Jon.” Melissa rolled her eyes.

“We know.” She said frustratedly.

Just then the gym doors opened and in stepped his mother panting. She was dressed in the same uniform as everyone else.

“Sorry I’m late!”

Melissa stormed up to her.

“Where the hell have you been?” She asked angrily. Linda, having caught her breath, gave Melissa a scowl.

“I was busy doing the laundry and I guess I forgot about practice.”

“How could you forget?” Melissa nearly shouted. “We’ve got a game on Friday! We need to be ready.”

Linda nodded.

“I know, I know. I said that I was sorry ok? Let’s just forget about it.” Linda walked over to the box where they kept their pompoms and picked up a pair.

“You’re mom looks great in that uniform.” Steve whispered in Jon’s ear.

“Um, OK” Jon replied, feeling a bit embarrassed.

“Although, not as hot as you.”

Jon looked down at himself and much to his dismay, the gym outfit that he had been wearing had now been replaced with the same uniform that the other girls wore.
