“Saw what?” Linda replied staring at Sarah in disbelief. “You’re crazy, lady.” She said shaking her head, and with that, Linda turned around and stormed off in the opposite direction.
Sarah stared after the woman, hardly believing what had just happened. She looked down when she felt someone tugging at her sleeve. It was the little boy. She couldn't believe it! The woman...Linda, had left him behind. Some people just didn't deserve to be parents.
"Can we go now?" he asked.
"Go?" she said, confused. "Go where?"
"We don't have to go food shopping?" He asked her.
Sarah looked in the direction Linda had gone helplessly. She was already out of view. What was she going to do?
