Several people rushed over to help, including the reporter. She kneeled down next to Jon, her hand on the wishing rock that Jon had dropped and she said, "I wish she is alright, at least until opening night."

Having heard the wish, Jon knew what was happening even before it happened.

As several of the stronger boys removed the fallen lights from Jon, she was able to crawl out from underneath, scared but unharmed. Well mostly unharmed.

"Karyn can you help me to the girl's room." Jon asked, picking up the rock as she stood.

"Oh, believe me Mrs. Rose, I really want to be in this play. But I was thinking that maybe Karyn and I should head home a bit early tonight, I don't think that either of us will be in any shape to continue play practice today."

"I think you are right. I will cancel the rest of play practice tonight."

Jon and Karyn thought that they were lucky to get out of practice without any more bad wisghes.

The two beat Jon's mother home.

In Jon's room Jon went to change. A few minutes later Jon called Karyn into the bathroom. "Ah, Karyn we have a problem. I am a girl but
