When Mikey got home he headed straight to his room. Once he was sure he was alone he removed the magic necklace and turned back into a boy.
Mikey briefly considered throwing the necklace away and never looking back. The only thing that stopped him was curiosity and the thrill that discovering that magic was real and he had a little piece of it. He opened his underwear drawer and tucked the necklace way in the back where he was sure that nobody would find it.
He spent the rest of the evening trying to forget it was even there and act like everything was normal. He thought that Jon would tease him about being a girl scout, but surprisingly he said nothing. Even Zoe hadn't teased him very much. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
It was only when he was changing his clothes to go to sleep that he thought about the necklace again. Krista had told him that he should practice being a girl before the girl scout camping trip.
Mikey retrieved the necklace from his underwear drawer and hesitantly draped it around his neck. The change was as instantaneous as always; one moment he was a boy dressed for bed in pajamas the next he was a girl dressed in... a nightgown? He remembered that when he had changed before that his underwear had turned into a pair of panties but he hadn't really thought about it change more of his clothing.
He pulled up his new nightgown and wasn't at all surprised to see a pair of panties once again covering his crotch. He'd spent enough time as a girl that day to feel confident that nobody would think it was strange that he wan't a boy anymore.
He crossed the hall to the bathroom and began brushing his teeth. As he was rinsing he say Zoe walk by the open door. "Goodnight." Mikey called after her.
"Goodnight, Michele" Zoe replied.
There was only one more thing that Mikey needed to do before going to bed and it was something that he had been trying to put off. But he couldn't avoid it any longer. He really needed to pee. He briefly considered changing back into a boy but he knew that sooner or later, if he kept spending time as a girl, he was probably going to have to pee as one so he might as well get it over with.
Despite all of his trepidation, Mikey actually found it quite easy to pee as a girl. As he got up off of the toilet he almost laughed at how much he had been worrying about nothing.
Mikey made his way back to his room, climbed into bed, and quickly fell asleep with the necklace still around his neck.
