The rest of the meeting went uneventfully and eventually the other girl's parents began picking them up. Soon it was just Mikey and Krista. They were waiting in Krista's room for Mikey's mom to come pick him up.
"So how are you enjoying being a girl?" Krista asked.
"What? You didn't see me change. You shouldn't remember that I'm really a boy." Mikey said in surprise.
"Of course I know. For one thing, you are wearing the magic necklace so you must really be a boy. For another, anyone that has worn the necklace before always remember anyone else that is transformed by it."
"What? You didn't say that part before."
"It wasn't important and besides, I wasn't sure it was true since I've never let anybody else use it. So are you enjoying it?" Krista explained.
"I mean... it's different. I wouldn't say I was enjoying it, but it's not too bad."
"What about when you went to the bathroom?" Krista asked.
Mikey blushed. "That's kind of private." he said trying to dodge the question.
"Hey, we are both girls here." Krista said. "You can tell me anything."
"Fine. I took the necklace off before I used the toilet." Mikey admitted.
"That's cheating." Krista teased.
"Yeah, well..." Mikey started when from downstairs the two girl heard Mrs. Diver shout "Michele, your mom is here."
Mikey reached up to remove the necklace and return it to Krista but she stopped him. "You keep it for now. You'll need it on Friday to turn into a girl for our camping trip."
"You can just give it to me on Friday." Mikey said again reach up to remove it.
"Nah. You need to practice being a girl during the week so that you aren't so awkward at it when the weekend comes. At least practice using the toilet as a girl a few times. You might not always have the opportunity to change back to do it while we are camping."
"Michele." Mrs. Diver called from the bottom of the stairs, "Come on down sweety. You mom is ready to take you home."
Reluctantly, Mikey kept the necklace on as he made his way downstairs to go home with his mom.
