Slipping his hands into his pockets, feeling his lucky stone, Robin launched into his final pitch. "Gina. She had a part in the play. Well, she left school suddenly. Miss Goodbody wants me to help out. She said that I am the only one who can help her with this. She asked me to play Gina's part and I wish you would let me. I really want to help her."
Robin's mom was more than a bit concerned about the fact that Robin didn't have any male role models in his life. She was trying to raise all four of her children to be good people and not to be sexist in nature. She was most concerned about Robin becoming too feminine, being surrounded by only females.
Still, she found herself deciding that this would be a good idea. Robin might learn a lot more about the other sex, and that would make him a better man.
"Well, if your teacher thinks it is a good idea, and you want to do it, then I guess I can agree. I'll write her a note for you to take to school in the morning." She said, deciding that the happy look on Robin's face was reward enough for this. "But you had best not let your homework slide."
"I won't, I promise Mom. Thank you. You are the best mom, ever!"
