"Did you make the wish?" Karyn asked as she watched Jon come out of his en suite bathroom and take in his surroundings.
"Uh hmm." Jon said smiling as he looked Karyn up and down. Karyn followed his cue and looked at herself. She was still wearing the black trousers and white dress shirt along with the black tie that she had put on this morning.
Jon on the other hand, was looking sexy as ever. Standing there with his hands on his hips in his blue polka dot dress and his hair tied back in a neat bun. Karyn then studied the room but saw nothing wrong with the king sized bed sitting in the middle. She was about to ask for a clue but was interrupted when Jon's sister Zoe poked her head in.
"Hey hon, I'm off to work now." Zoe said, she noticed Karyn and moved fully into the room eyeing Karyn suspiciously. Like Karyn Zoe was dressed ready for a day at the office.
"Oh hey Karyn. What are you doing here?" She asked as she walked over to Jon.
"I just needed a word with Jon that's all." Karyn told her. She blushed when Zoe, taking Jon by surprise, grabbed her brother by the waist and pulled him into a passionate kiss.
Jon giggled. "Honey. Not in front of Karyn."
Karyn shook her head. She wasn't stupid, Zoe's exhibit of passion wasn't lost on her. It was Zoe's way of reminding Karyn that Jon was spoken for (despite what happened last night).
Karyn took her cue and cleared her throat while looking at her watch. "I'd ah, best be going as well then." She said heading for the door. "I'll talk to you later Jon."
Jon, still flustered from Zoe's kiss, just nodded in return.
On her way out to her car, Karyn bumped in to Jon's father who was running late for school.
