After a few minutes Jon came out from the kitchen. "Hey Karyn!" He greeted her with a warm smile. Karyn smiled back.
"Hey." She replied. "Can we talk in your room?" Karyn asked. "About the you know what?" She added. Jon nodded as he took Karyn's hand and led her upstairs.
Once inside Jon's room Karyn closed the door so that no one could here before turning back to Jon.
"So," she started. "Give up?" She asked.
Jon paused to think, looking around his room as he did so and then shrugged his shoulders.
"I guess." He said. "I have no idea."
Karyn nodded in response and then took out the stone. "I wish that the wish that I'm thinking about would be undone." She said as the stone glowed.
Karyn blinked and looked down at herself. Yep, she was back to normal. Green baggy sweater and jeans. She looked up at Jon who was wearing his jeans and a T-shirt again.
"So, what was the wish?" Jon asked. "I don't feel any different."
Karyn grasped the stone. "I wish that Jon would remember the events of yesterday as if he had heard my wish." Karyn said as the stone glowed again. It was only fair to let Jon have the same experience as he had given her after his wish, she thought.
Jon's eyes opened wide in shook. "What!?" He said as the memories flooded in. "You made me dress like a girl!?" He asked.
Karyn burst out laughing. "Oh come on Jon. It was just a bit of fun and besides you looked so cute in that crop top and skirt." She said.
Jon blushed as he remembered his feelings towards her. He approached her and then kissed her on the cheek.
"I guess we're even then." He said smiling at her. Karyn nodded smiling back, relieved that Jon's feelings were still as they were yesterday.
Jon gently took the stone from Karyn giving her a kiss on the lips as he did so. "My turn." He said winking at her as he turned to leave for the bathroom.
"What are you going to wish for?" She asked.
"Ah, ah, ah." He said shaking his head and placing his finger on her lips. "You have to guess remember?"
