As I stepped out onto the street I couldn't believe the detail. The buildings, trees and even the sky and road were detailed right down to the clouds in the sky. The weather was sunny and I could feel the warm sun on my body. Especially with the exposed skin that the costume my avatar was wearing.
This is pretty cool, I thought to myself, but I really need to find Suzie. My half-hour was up and I didn't want to keep her waiting any longer.
So I started walking down the street following the directions on my MAP, till I came the place it said she would be. As soon as I entered I saw her sitting at a table by herself eagerly waiting for me. But of course she wasn't expecting me as a woman so when she saw me enter she quickly continued scanning the room for someone else she expected to be me.
I walked over to the table she was sitting at and slid into the chair next to her.
Um I'm sorry miss but I'm waiting for someone, said Suzie.
Suzie, it's me, I replied.
David I didn't know you wanted to be a girl, she giggled.
I didn't, I growled, but being in a hurry to get here I picked the randomizer for my avatar. I didn't expect it to make me a woman, but never the less here I am.
David, she asked, did you say you picked the randomizer?
Yea why?
Do you realize what you are, asked Suzie?
Yes I know I'm a man in a woman's body, I answered annoyingly.
No, she whispered, I mean do you know what the person you've become is?
Oh, she's a dancer or something like that, I answered.
Oh dear you just don't get it David, because you didn't specify an avatar the system interpreted that as you didn't want to play, you just wanted to watch. When that happens you become one of the story line characters, she said in a worried voice.
Ok, so I'm a story line character what does that mean?
