I opened the door of the room and stepped into a narrow hallway. The MAP said to turn right so I did. Walking down the hallway felt very strange, indeed. I could feel every movement of my hips, boobs and butt. And each step reminded me of the void between my legs. Strangely, I realized, I had no difficulty walking in the high heels. Must be a part of the personality characterization.

At the end of the hallway, I discovered a stairway which led, I found, to a large room below. It was obvious this was a tavern or an inn. It was equally obvious that now was not the busy hour hereabouts. The only occupant of the room was a single man behind the bar, busily preparing for anticipated business later.

"Ah, you're about, eh, Misty?" he called out.

How did he know my name? Unbidden, a name came to my mind. This was Jarren, the owner and my employer. I was the lure that drew in drinkers to this establishment.

"Out for some shopping? Or what?" he continued good-naturedly. It was apparent that this was more than a professional relationship. My mind, however, noted that it was a friendship as well - but no more.

"I-I have an appointment to meet someone," I replied. The sound of my new voice was strange to my own ears. "But don't worry, I'll be back in time for the show."

He grinned, "Just see that you are. After all, can't keep the customers waiting, you know." He turned back to his work.

I opened the door and stepped outside onto the street.
