"Well, how about whatever you would've been named if you'd been born a girl? How's that?"
Jon hesitated, and then nodded. "Okay, I guess. Let me think, though. What was it that mom was going to call me?" He thought for a few seconds, then came up with the name.
"Sydney. She mentioned that if she ever had a daughter, she'd name her Sydney."
"Sounds good enough to me, Sydney," Karyn said, smiling. "Now come on, let's go bowling."
