The next day, Jon woke up and headed for the bathroom. With a feeling of dread, he looked in the mirror, and was shocked at what he saw. While his face was still his own, it looked more feminine or androgenous than he was comfortable with. His hair was identical to Karyn's in both color and length as it was short, just above his neck, and in the same vibrant shade of red.
Most disturbing was the weight loss. He'd dropped a lot of weight during the night and was shocked by the fact that the scale said he only weighed 124 pounds. Looking over his body, he was appalled when he noticed that most of his fat and muscle mass was gone, and he felt incredibly scrawny. He felt like a tall twelve year old rather than his seventeen years of age.
After taking a shower, Jon scrambled to find something to wear. His underwear and socks fit, but barely. His shirts were far too big for him, as were his pants. He also noticed that even if his pants would fit properly that the legs were a little too long. He'd shrunk an inch or two.
"At least Karyn's not too much shorter than me," he though, "being around five foot eight."
Jon decided that his best bet would be to use the rock to make some fitting clothes, so he grabbed his bathrobe and went downstairs to look. Immediately, he noticed that it was missing, and he stopped dead in his tracks.
"Shit, this isn't good!" He began searching around the kitchen. Unable to locate the rock, he rushed into his mother's room and woke her.
"Mom! Have you seen the rock?"
